Sorry that I pretty much abandoned Deviant Art. I've been focusing on a career change from medical to legal, and although I like where I work, I miss the healthcare field. I want to be more involved with it. So last year I started prereqs for Nursing. We'll see what happens--I may take them and still never get into a school, but at least I will know I tried. In the meantime, I'll see if I've got any exciting photography I can post on here. Otherwise...maybe I'll draw some...anatomy? :D

Hey guys! To those of you who might be wondering, I didn't secure San Diego Comic Con tickets this year. Although I won't be attending that particular event, there are a few local events I'm going to attempt. I'm also considering dressing as a Star Wars character to the premiere of the movie in December; that might be fun! And with the exciting news that "Tron 3" is set to begin filming in October, I have even more time to prepare a cosplay fit to wear on the Grid...!

Thanks to everyone sticking around and sharing their love on my page; it's always appreciated!

Want to take a moment and thank my dear friend 03mooshi who completed a commission for me. I've always loved the 10th Doctor from "Doctor Who," and I've always had a thing for Sailor Pluto from the "Sailor Moon" manga series. I always wanted to see them together in a "what if" scenario, and she made it happen! Not many people have done something like this with these two characters though it makes total sense because they are both intertwined with Space and Time. Also, I love the medium that mooshi uses. Here's her design and make sure to view her gallery of Supernatural artwork. It's fabulous!

San Diego Comic Con 2014: successful, wonderful...everything that I hoped it would be!

What's next: I'm doing a Doctor Who cosplay for a 5k in September and I hope to post pics of it. Won't be "true" cosplay since it's a pre-printed dress, but it's a 5k obstacle course...with pools of water...there's no way I'm wading through water in that long coat 10 likes to wear. Not happening. But I've got a Tardis purse and some 3D glasses as accessories which will help fill the part. It'll be lots of fun! Then of course there's Halloween, and I've been thinking Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter would be something fun to do as I've got Luna's wand in my possession now. Thankfully, there are so many events in October I won't be confined to one idea.

I really enjoyed my simple Loki cosplay from Comic Con and I'm thinking of a modification for a truer "Loki: Agent of Asgard" Cosplay since that particular Loki hasn't had a lot of cosplayers attempt it as of yet. How exciting!

AAAAAAAAAAANNNDDD I'm experimenting with a cosplay blog. Whether or not it will be short-lived or a new social phenomenon remains to be seen. Feel free to check out the beginning creation here: thecosplaycohorts.blogspot.com…

Wanna see something? Shout out a suggestion; I'm open to ideas!

Panic and anxiety seems to be frequent for me when it comes to giant adventures. It happened right before SDCC 2013 when I was struggling with putting together my Stuttgart staff. I wanted to avoid such a thing this year, but it didn't happen. It was such a pain trying to figure out what I wanted to do this year for Comic Con. My initial plan had been to go as a Program from Tron: Legacy, as I am a huge Tron fan and such a thing would have been right up my alley. The lights for such a costume were even severely discounted on ebay. But due to other outstanding circumstances, I had to shelve it for the time being. I'm fairly certain I'll come back to it eventually.

The obvious thing I knew I was doing was returning as Stuttgart Loki at least one day during the Con. Honestly, there's nothing like walking around and yelling at people to kneel before you. Everyone should try it sometime. But I wanted to do something else, something new. I went surfing the internet a few weeks ago, looking at cosplayers, daydreaming about loads of funds to do things that would look stunning and sleek. Then I came upon one of my pictures from the Sacramento Wizard World Con back in March, of me as Jack Frost standing next to Ororo Munroe, aka Storm. She was my first favorite super hero, right alongside Spiderman. TA DAA! With that, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

I couldn't have chosen a more lousy time to get started on a costume. Never again shall I wait until after the 4th of July to start working on an outfit. Thankfully, I have a white wig long enough to work for Storm's hair. I'm modifying some athletic wear with gold trim to pull off a shirt, and the cape just needs to be cut out and pinched together. Thankfully, I'm nearly done, but it's been a hard lesson in procrastination for me.

If anyone else is going to San Diego Comic Con 2014, I wanna hear about it! Leave a comment below, tell me who you're going as if you are cosplaying, and I'll look forward to seeing you there!
